Laboum and their charming phalanx of backup girls bring their insistently jazzy summer single to Music Bank’s stage.
I’m beginning to think this single may represent the long-awaited transcendence of the “quirky single” phenomenon that has dogged K-pop this year from “Rookie” through “Coloring Book” and “Red Flavor” and so on. Though I was amiably skeptical at first, this song on repeated viewings becomes increasingly appealing.
Note in passing that, yes, Soyeon’s tresses this season have been surprisingly spritzed in green. Here you might not even notice since she’s flopping them in a ponytail but since I already caught a radio appearance where she had them down we have to duly note this new trend.
